Any rFDynHud Widget Creator?

Postby ChildcarRacing » Mon Jan 16, 2012 9:59 pm

Hi, is there any program or tool that will allow you to create your own widgets for rFDynHud? Any answer will be appreciated

Did you look into the package that comes with rfDynHUD? We included the editor and an SDK to learn to program your own widgets in Java. Please ask more specific if you have questions, but be aware, we can not teach you Java from zero. ;)

I am reading the Readme and I am following the instructions but then it just comes up with an error message saying
"Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from C:/Users/??/Desktop/Widget Creator/rFDynHud.jar" Please help me

Sounds like you tried to doubleclick the rfdynhud.jar. Why would you do that?

Please describe esactly, what you did.

I copied and pasted the files that the Readme told me to have into a folder and then I tried running the rFDynHud.jar file then it came up with that error message

There's certainly no readme, that tells you to run the rfdynhud.jar ;).

You have to

1. install rfDynHUD to your rFactor folder as usual (as the readme tells you).
2. create a Java project.
3. add the rfdynhud.jar to the Java project's classpath.
4. take the lesson Widgets packages and classes as examples about how to create your own Widgets.
